The Women’s Asia Cup 2022 will begin on October 1. This is a T20 tournament which means that it will be a 20-over game. All the matches will be played in Bangladesh. Seven teams comprising India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, the UAE, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, will compete in the tournament. The final match will be played on October 16.
Malaysia and UAE qualified for the tournament after reaching the final of the 2022 ACC Women’s T20 Championship. This was held in Malaysia in June 2022.
The tournament opener will be played by Bangladesh against Thailand. India will then begin their campaign against Sri Lanka on the same day.
